Come and learn about the principles and practices of Food Forest Gardening at the Sackville Community Garden this Friday. Community Forests International has an established 4 year old food forest at the site which we will explore together – learning about the food and medicine we can grow in our food forests!

Food Forest Gardening is gardening like a forest versus gardening in a forest – using the image of nature to guide design and our hungry belly’s to guide the plants, shrubs and trees we choose.

We will explore the edible wild, herbal medicine, green roofing, and the many ways we can use the natural world to our benefit! Come out and join us!!
