  • Material Embodied Energy: Carbon is stored in the mostly wood structure. Wood fibre insulation was chosen for its low carbon foorprint and low embodied energy.

 

  • Natural air filtration and movement is created with the large air space between the two levels.

 

  • Air filtering plants recommended by NASA clean the air of toxins, dust, CO2 and any particulates from the wood burning stove.

 

  • Budget friendly materials and simple structure were chosen to reduce the construction costs
