Wildlife Conservation Workshop

The Acadian Forest is home to many plants and animals that are unique to this region and need to be maintained to promote healthy diverse forests for years to come.  Wildlife biologist, Bob Bancroft, is giving a full day workshop about how to create wildlife habitat in our backyards and on our woodlots. Come out and learn simple ways to increase suitable habitat for the many animals that allow our forests to thrive. Without these animals, we are forced to absorb the costs of pest control, fertilization, seed dispersal, and self-perpetuating ecosystems that we need for our livelihoods. Don’t discount the work that these critters do – come and learn how they can become an integral part of your property.

When: September 10
