Material Embodied Energy: Carbon is stored in the mostly wood structure. Wood fibre insulation was chosen for its low carbon foorprint and low embodied energy.
Natural air filtration and movement is created with the large air space between the two levels.
Air filtering plants recommended by NASA clean the air of toxins, dust, CO2 and any particulates from the wood burning stove.
Budget friendly materials and simple structure were chosen to reduce the construction costs
