Sometimes the simplest solution is the best solution. These handmade stoves drastically reduce the amount of wood needed for cooking, saving money while reducing pressure on forests and the climate. When we first introduced this innovation to a handful of pilot villages they went viral and quickly replaced the traditional three-stone fire method. The reasons are many, but mostly it's because the simple design is cheap and easy to DIY - with a bit of guidance anyone can build their own high efficiency clay cookstove.
If you believe in the power of DIY, help us bring this Pemban innovation to the next level by supporting our #ScalingInnovation Indiegogo campaign.
